About me:

Come back with a warrant

About the site:

This is my first foray into html/css that's hosted and visible online! I decided to learn html because of a tumblr post I saw about neocities lol. It's a fun hobby that doesn't require any materials besides my computer, and a way for me to expand on my fairly basic computer skills. This is a place for me to experiment and mess around while I learn.

I've also found it difficult to commit to and stay engaged with any other social media or online presence in a way that feels active or creative (ie. not like just being a "user"). Plus I don't want to pour my time into something that ultimately doesn't belong to me. But I do like collecting, curating and organising thoughts, ideas, media, etc. that I find interesting in a way that's fun for other people to explore too. Historically my journal has filled this gap for me, but with a website I can get a bit crazier with links and media :)

My tools:

As of now I use phoenix code to edit my site, which gives you a super helpful live view of your webpage as you edit. Would recommend! I started out coding html/css with just TextEdit and Rstudio, because they were both already on my computer. All you really need to get started is a text editor that can handle .html files.
